HALCON Furniture, located in Stewartville, MN, manufactures award-winning, modern office furniture of the highest quality. To meet increased demand for our innovative products, we are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Manager to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to provide technical direction and business guidance to a dedicated, fast-paced team.
Essential Duties:
  • Plan, manage and oversee the daily functions, operations and activities of the Manufacturing Engineer team.   
  • Evaluate the manufacturing process to identify areas of improvement, including team performance and the plant’s quality and profitability.
  • Direct projects with overall responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of new products of broad scope into the plant.
  • Improve manufacturing efficiencies while maintaining the highest level of quality.
  • Provide timely product and process support for any manufacturing area to diagnose problems and implement solutions to minimize interruptions to production.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedural document requirements.

Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree or equivalent education, preferable degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Process Engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing plant with a minimum of 4 years management experience.
  • Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Demonstrated project management and leadership ability.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload with multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of simulation, process modeling, and value stream mapping.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to motivate and effectively lead.
  • High degree of interpersonal and communication skills required to work with all levels of management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems such as: Microsoft Office, ERP system, including CAD exposure.

Salary Range:
