HALCON Furniture, located in Stewartville, MN, manufactures award-winning, modern office furniture of the highest quality. We are currently seeking a CAD Drafting & Design Manager to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and offer a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, this position will have direct oversight and management of the drafting and design team within the headquarters location.

Essential Duties:

  • Direct oversight and management of the drafting and design team.
  • Manage drafting schedules, allocate resources, and ensure the drafting team meets deadlines.
  • Monitor and communicate project timelines, updates, and design changes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure drawing accuracy and alignment with standards and project goals.
  • Maintain and update department processes and procedures.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Assume other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong drive for continuous learning and mentorship of a team.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management.
  • Skilled background in 3D modeling.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Finds pride in careful and precise work.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to learn job-specific software.

Salary Range:
